[On December 25th, Max will find a large box on her doorstep, addressed to her. Inside the box are two festively-wrapped boxes taped together, and on top is note taped to the boxy pyramid. The note reads "Max, Merry Christmas. Hope this helps make this place feel a little bit more like home. -Normie." The first box is actually a set of the following DVDs wrapped together to give the appearance of a box: The Postman Always Knocks Twice, Gilda, Faster, Pussycat! Kill, Kill!, Out of the Past, Double Indemnity, Kiss Me Deadly, and Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Inside the second box is a set of high-quality camera lenses which the clerk assured him would work on a variety of different cameras. On that box is a post-it that reads "Let me know if these don't work for your camera, I'll replace them. -N."]

Inside, she'll find a thermos that looks like a camera lens, a little sea glass bracelet she picked up on her trip up north, and of course a personal note from Clara, wishing her a happy holiday and giving her a standing invitation to tea.]

I'm afraid I have some unfortunate news, as well as a final request. The Doctor was sent home for a short time, and has returned with his mind wiped of our time together. I knew this was coming, but hoped that we would have longer before it caught up with us. He knows he had a friend named Clara, and he's aware that his memories of me are missing, but he doesn't recognize my face. It's best that this doesn't change. The safety of the universe depends on our separation.

Please check up on him when you can. He's gone through a torturous ordeal, and he needs friends, not a sad stranger. He's very bad at being alone, and if I could offer him any help I would. I'm afraid, however, that all I'll be able to give him is more pain. I've got no idea where I'll wind up, but I can't stay in Heropa right now. I'll let you know once I do.

[On this, the most important romance-related holiday of the year, Max receives a card delivered by a flying pig. The pig was probably supposed to look sort of like cupid, as is appropriate for the day, but Mabel made the wings way more bat-like than cherubic. Oops!

There’s a small chocolate heart taped to the back, and a little note: Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks for knitting with me and showing me where the best waffles are!! You're the coolest.]

Mabel stays out of frame and sneaks through a dark house to what's obviously the kitchen of Heropa 18, where one Stan Pines is doing his best to eat and enjoy a brownie in the most covert way possible. In the corner of the screen the fridge is visible, and on that fridge is Max's card! Stuck in a place of honor with a dumb banana magnet. Aw.

Too bad the moment is spoiled when Stan figures out he's being watched! And as Mabel makes her escape, giggling all the way, Stan's grouchy old voice can be heard yelling: What brownies?! I appreciate nothing!]

Dear, Miss Caulfield -

We have not spoken before, but my name is Petyr Baelish. I serve as the ambassador for Maurtia Falls. I write to you on behalf of a project I am working on within my city. Construction has already begun on rebuilding a much larger library, but I wish for this to be more than simply a bigger structure. I hope to inspire education and the spread of knowledge to the natives of Maurtia Falls as well as provide an invaluable resource to new arrivals here. But more than that, I wish to use it to pay homage to the natives who lost their lives within Maurtia Falls due to imPort related tragedies. Their names will be honored within the library itself and donations will be set up to be made to the families.

For this project to succeed, I need your help. If you are able to donate anything at all to the cause, it would be most appreciated -- whether that is books, money, or simply your time. I plan to put programs into place once the library is finished to have imPorts come in and read to the much younger generation. I believe it would be a great way to strengthen the native and imPort bond.
